What is the Apartment Lovers reward card?
The Apartment Lovers reward card is a Visa gift card that you can lease anywhere Visa cards are accepted. It's our way of saying thanks for using Apartment Lovers!
Who is eligible for the reward card?
You are eligible for a reward card if you find your new apartment home on apartmentlovers.com, bring your Apartment Lovers guest card when you tour the property, make sure to tell the property that you found them using the site, and report your lease using our online submission system. Some terms and conditions apply.
How do I get my Reward Card?
Claiming your reward card is easy - simply report your lease with Apartment Lovers, checking the certification boxes below. Reward cards will be offered only for applicants who abide by the terms and conditions and follow the correct procedure outlined in the "How it Works" section. You can report your lease online 24/7 or contact your local Apartment Lovers by phone to report your lease.
When should I report my lease?
It's best to report your lease as soon as it's signed or as soon as you move in. You MUST report your lease no later than 30 days from the date you move in to your apartment in order to be eligible to receive a reward card.
How long does it take to get my reward card?
Once you've reported your lease, it typically takes 6-8 weeks to receive your card. You can check the status of your reward card 24/7 online using the "Check Status" link here.
Do I have to spend the reward card all in one place?
No - the reward card is as flexible in this regard as a regular credit card. You can simply continue to use the card until the balance is entirely spent. Check the balance of your card at any time by calling the number of the back of your card.
How do I activate my reward card? Does activating the card cost money?
To activate your card, simply dial the activation number printed on the card and provide the activation code. Your activation code is printed on the materials that arrived in the mail with your card.
Where can I use the reward card?
Any vendor, in person or online, that accepts Visa credit cards will accept your reward card.
Can I use my reward card to withdraw cash from an ATM?
The reward card may not be used to withdraw cash, and will not work at any ATM.
Can I shop online using my reward card?
In order to make online purchases, you'll need your billing address, which is the same billing address were your card was sent. If the online merchant requires your 3-digit code, you can find it on the back of your card printed on the signature panel.
Can I spend more than the balance of the card?
No - if you try and make a purchase that is greater than the amount remaining on the card, it will be declined.
How can I find out how much money is left on my reward card?
To determine the remaining balance on your card, simply call the customer service number on the back of the card and follow the instructions to receive your balance from the automated system. You can also check your balance using the website URL printed on the back of your card.
When does my reward card expire?
The expiration date for your reward card is printed on the front of the card.
What if I lose my activation code or forget it?
You'll receive your activation code when you receive you reward card in the mail. Make sure to keep the documentation that comes with the card - this contains your activation code. If you lose or forget your activation code prior to activating the card, contact Aparmtent Lovers to arrange to cancel and replace the reward card.
